Tom Butterfield MCSP
Tom is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 6 years of experience varying from Elite Sport to Private Practice. Having also graduating in 2014, Tom has worked at Crewe Alexandra FC and Leeds United FC and is now working at Manchester City FC. He has worked with a variety of athletes from amateur athletes to elite Premier League players and spent the bulk of his career working within elite academy football ranging from 9s all the way to U23 players.
Tom's interest in sports injury extends into a Post-Graduate diploma from Salford University in Sports Injury Rehabilitation and he has a keen interest in Strength and Conditioning and it's role in rehabilitation, pain relief and reducing the occurrence of injuries and re-injuries.
Tom is registered with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and a member of the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) as well as the FMPA (Football Medical and Performance Association) and the RFL (Rugby Football League). He will be covered by the majority of insurance groups and Private healthcare cover.
